Experienced Commercial HVAC Technician

About You
The proactive candidate will have a strong background in repair service as a field technician, plus a deep understanding of HVAC-R systems, and exceptional customer service skills with an interest in a career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all types of heating and cooling units, up to 100-Tons, including water source, gas pack, heat pump, ductless, VRF, controls, evap. coolers, refrigeration/low temp, hot side kitchen equipment, rack systems, C-store equipment, etc.
• Perform welding and electrical work as needed.
• Use a phone app-based field management system to document and track job progress.
• Cover a rotating weekend on-call schedule once per month.
• Maintain a clean driving record and background.
• Ensure trade-specific tools are readily available for use.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Knowledge of 460-volt and 3-phase power.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Great customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to take pride in daily work and provide excellent service.

Education and Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field desired.
• Professional certifications in HVAC-R service desired.
